Parking Information and Updates


Football Parking Information

Single game general admission parking is available for purchase on game day at Gate 14 for $20, credit card only.

Parking lots open 3 hours before kickoff time. Parking lots will close 1 hour after the end of the game.

Tailgating within the Athletics complex is permitted 3 hours before kickoff time. There is no tailgating permitted during the game. Tailgating is not permitted following night games.

Stadium gates for Harvard Athletics events open 90 minutes before kickoff time.

Additional limited general admission parking is available at the Harvard Business School. Tailgating is not permitted at the Harvard Business School.

Handicap accessible parking is available through Gate 8. Cars wishing to utilize an accessible parking spot must have a valid and visible state-issued placard and must also pay the game day parking rate at the gate.

Commercial vehicles (U-Hauls), RVs, Winnebagos, and trucks are not permitted in any parking facility. Corporate sampling and promotional vehicles MUST have prior written permission from Harvard Athletics Marketing to enter any parking lot. Basketball, Hockey, and Lacrosse Parking Information

General admission parking is available through Gate 8 on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking for all events will be $20.  This includes ALL Men's & Women's Hockey, Men's & Women's Basketball, and Men's & Women's Lacrosse games.

Parking lots open one hour before the game starts. 

Additional limited general admission parking is available at the Harvard Business School. Tailgating is not permitted at the Harvard Business School.

Football Tailgating Information

Football general admission parking and tailgating are located on McCurdy Track at the closed end of Harvard Stadium. Fans can enter the Harvard Athletics complex through Gate 14, located on Soldiers Field Road, and will be directed by security personnel to their parking location.

In an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all fans and spectators, Harvard Athletics, in cooperation with the Harvard University Police Department, has established the following policies regarding tailgating within the Athletics Complex.

Harvard University is a great place to tailgate; however, rules are strictly enforced!

Tailgating Guidelines

Guests who park within the Athletics complex (gates 8, 14, 16, and 20) are welcome to tailgate at their vehicles. Tailgating is not permitted, however, for fans who park in the Harvard Business School lot.

All parking lots open 3 hours before kickoff for tailgating. Lots will close 1 hour following the end of the game. There is no tailgating permitted during the game. Tailgating is not permitted following night games.

Each vehicle is permitted 1 parking space and the area directly behind the vehicle for tailgating. You may not block aisles or other vehicles from parking.

Beer kegs and items that promote the rapid consumption of alcohol are not permitted at any University Athletics function or event. No individual or group may transport a keg to a University Athletics event.

Grills using charcoal are prohibited within the Athletics complex. The maximum propane gas cylinder size allowed is 20 pounds.
