DURHAM, N.H. - Arizona State topped Harvard by
a score of 3-0 in the first round of the Holly Young Invitational
hosted by the University of New Hampshire. The Sun Devils won by
scores of 25-16, 15-16, 25-7 in improving to 8-2 on the season.
Harvard dips to 2-6 with a pair of games remaining in the tourney
on Saturday. The Crimson will take on the host team as well as
Wyoming.
Sandra Fryhofer led Harvard with eight kills and a .350 hitting
percentage in the match while Mikaelle Comrie added seven kills.
The rest of the team had just eight kills combined while Lily
Durwood was credited with 15 assists.
Defensively, Christine Wu had 18 digs while Chelsea Ono Horn
added nine.
