Harvard looks for its third straight conference win against Princeton Friday (Gil Talbot).

The Particulars
The Harvard women's volleyball team looks to extend its two-match conference win streak as it hits the road to take on Princeton (Friday, 7 p.m.) and Penn (Saturday, 6 p.m.) this weekend. Princeton is the top ranked team in the Ivy League with a 3-0 league mark and Penn is ranked third with a 2-1 Ivy record.

Last Time Out
The Crimson bounced back after dropping the first set to record its second consecutive home conference win, downing Cornell, 3-1, Saturday night at the Malkin Athletic Center.

Taylor Docter led all Harvard hitters for the second night in a row, totaling 13 kills and hitting .314 for the match. She also added two blocks and six digs on the night. Beth Kinsella had a career night, dishing out 43 helpers in the win, and Anne Carroll Ingersoll contributed 12 kills and three blocks. Teresa Skelly finished a strong performance with six blocks.

Crimson Awards
Taylor Docter and Teresa Skelly both received recognition for strong performances against Columbia and Cornell. Skelly was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week after totaling 11 blocks and 13 kills over the two games. Docter was selected as the Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week after leading the team in kills for both games, and also received recognition on the Ivy League Honor Roll for Oct. 12.

Scouting The Tigers
Princeton enters the Harvard match riding a four-match win streak, including three conference victories. In their last game, the Tigers took down Yale, 3-1, at home to improve to 3-0 in the conference.

Lydia Rudnick has proven herself to be one of the top hitters in the league, earning her second consecutive Ivy League Player of the Week honor Oct. 12, and leading the league as the only Ivy player to average more than 4.00 kills per set. Michaela Venuti has collected 343 assists as the team's primary setter and Rudnick, Hillary Ford and CC Lobben have al recorded over 100 digs on the year. Cathryn Quinn leads the team with 41 blocks.

Scouting the Quakers
Penn takes on Dartmouth to start the weekend and registered a pair of 3-1 victories last weekend over Brown and Yale. Despite a 6-9 overall record on the season, Penn enters the weekend with a 2-1 record in league play.

Amanda Pacheco, the reigning Co-Player of the Week with Rudnick, leads the league in hitting percentage at .344 and stands third on the team with 127 total kills. Julia Swanson tops the Quakers with 165 kills and 3.17 kills per set, and Lauren Martin is close behind with 130 on the year. Setter Megan Tryon leads the league with a 10.29 assists-per-set average, and Madison Wojciechowski's 5.73 digs-per-set average also paces the league.
