PRINCETON, N.J. – Aisha Price score eight total goals against Villanova and Colorado State to propel the Harvard women's water polo team to a pair of wins at the Princeton Invitational Sunday. Harvard took down Villanova, 14-3, and upended Colorado State, 12-7.

The Crimson (4-2) easily won its second game of the year over Villanova after opening the first half with an 8-1 lead.

Aisha Price led Harvard with four tallies, while Monica Zdrojewski and Shayna Price added three. Shannon Purcell also found the back of the cage a pair of times. 

On defense, Aisha Price came up with five steals and Jasmine Griffin made eight stops.

Harvard blanked Colorado State, 4-0, in the first period and rode the advantage throughout the contest to get past the Rams.  After Colorado State mounted a push in the second period with a 3-1 advantage, Harvard regained control and won each of the last two frames, 4-3 and 3-1, respectively.

Aisha Price culminated her big day with four more goals to go along with two assists and two steals against Colorado State. The junior finished with eight goals, four assists and seven steals on the day.

Defensively, Ariel Dukes made nine saves and Devan Kennifer added six steals for the Crimson.

The Crimson revisits Princeton, N.J. Feb. 24-25 for the MAAC/East Challenge.
