Jared Sullinger, Randall Kennedy and 'Coach' Willie Maye to Take Part in Crimson Madness

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Special guests expected take part in Harvard men's basketball's fourth annual Crimson Madness event have been announced, as well as lineups for the dunk contest and 3-point competition.

Jared Sullinger of the Boston Celtics is scheduled to be one of the judges for the dunk contest, and is slated to be joined by Randall L. Kennedy, the Michael R. Klein Professor of Law. No stranger to playing above the rim, Sullinger is entering his third season with the Celtics after being named a starter for last year's Rising Star Challenge at NBA All-Star weekend.

Kennedy has been a longtime supporter of Harvard men's basketball and currently serves as the team's faculty advisor. A member of the faculty at Harvard Law School since 1984, Kennedy is also a member of the bar of the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court of the United States, and was awarded the 1998 Robert F. Kennedy Book Award for Race, Crime, and the Law.

Adding to the excitement will be "Coach" Willie Maye, the Celtics in-arena host at TD Garden and special guest Emcee for the evening. Maye will be presiding over the entire event, including on-court promotions and giveaways for fans.

Also announced on Wednesday were the lineups for the dunk contest and 3-point competition. Zena Edosomwan, Chris Egi, Agunwa Okolie, Wesley Saunders and Jonah Travis will be vying for the dunk contest title which Okolie won a year ago. In the 3-point competition, meanwhile, Siyani Chambers, Andre Chatfield, Corbin Miller and Steve Moundou-Missi will shoot it out.
