Harvard Varsity Club Welcomes Hall of Fame Class of 2017

Harvard Varsity Club Class of 2017 (Brian Panoff '98).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --  The Harvard Varsity Club welcomed eight members to its Hall of Fame as the Class of 2017 during a dinner and induction ceremony at the Harvard Club of Boston on Friday, October 13. Susan Bonney Doyle '02, Gordon Burnes '88, William Bennett Crockett '02, Sean Doyle '02, Margaret Elias Gerety '02, Margaret Gill Nyweide '02, Michelle Guerette '02, and Kart Siilats '02 joined over 400 student-athletes from Harvard's 42 varsity teams who have previously been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Executive Committee of the Harvard Varsity Club appoints a selection committee  to oversee the Hall of Fame induction process. To earn induction, student-athletes must be a graduate of Harvard for at least 15 years, and have acheived greatness in a sport for multiple years while competing for the Crimson.
