ORLANDO, Fla. - Harvard women's golf sophomore Michelle Xie sits second after day one of the Ivy League Championships at Orange Tree Golf Club. The Crimson ranks second overall, six strokes behind Princeton.
On the par 72, 6,243-yard course, Xie shot a 72 to place two strokes behind Amber Wang of Princeton. Senior Anne Cheng shot four over (76) to sit in a tie for ninth place. Freshman Ji Hae Lee and sophomore Anna Zhou each carded scores of 77 (plus-five) to sit 11th overall.
Princeton leads the pack with a total score of 296 (plus-eight), followed by the Crimson at 302. Penn ranks third at plus-19 (307).
