CAMBRIDGE, Mass -- The Harvard men's hockey team joined forces with One Summit on Sunday (Jan. 13) as the players skated with children fighting cancer - kids currently on-treatment as well as off-treatment.
Harvard has paired with One Summit's mission over the past several seasons to "help children battling cancer build resilience through experiential learning and mentorship".
One Summit is a non-profit organization committed to helping children battling cancer build courage, self-confidence and the resilience needed to continue their fight. One Summit was founded by Adam La Reau in 2013. Adam's inspiration stemmed from his experiences as a Navy SEAL, coupled with his mother's fight against breast cancer.
