CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Lacrosse has been predicted to finish in sixth place, the Ivy League announced today. The Ivy preseason poll is a result of voters across the league who regularly cover the conference.
The Crimson earned 38 points and finished ahead of Dartmouth, which tallied 16 points. Yale and Cornell landed atop the poll with 102 and 90 points, respectively. Each team also received first-place votes with the Bulldogs garnering 13 and the Big Red recording the other two.
Behind Cornell in third place was Princeton with 74 points. Penn (55) and Brown (45), meanwhile, finished 4-5 ahead of Harvard and the Big Green.
The Crimson, which is in the midst of its preseason camp, will open the season at nationally ranked North Carolina on Feb. 16. Game time is set for noon with the contest airing on ACC Network Extra.
