LEWISBURG, Pa.- In its final regular season conference contest, facing No. 6 Michigan, the No. 18 Women's Water Polo team suffered a 17-2 loss. The Crimson will go into postseason play with a 20-6 overall record and 3-3 mark in conference play.
On the opening sprint, Kristen Hong quickly worked the ball around the pool before Evan Tingler found the back of the net for an early one goal lead. Michigan quickly bounced back to capitalize on the man up advantage as the teams entered the second period tied at one.
Michigan had a commanding offensive attack throughout the second, third and fourth periods as Harvard struggled to break through its opponent's defense. The Wolverines put together a collective 15 unanswered goals until Mathilde Ribordy fired a shot to the top corner in the final portion of the fourth period. Michigan recorded another goal to tally a 17-2 victory.

The Crimson looks ahead to the Collegiate Water Polo Association conference tournament beginning on April 26 and running through the April 28. The winner of the tournament will then advance forward to the NCAA tournament.
