Ledlum Earns Fifth Ivy League Rookie-of-the-Week Award

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's basketball first-year Chris Ledlum has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week. The weekly award is his fifth of the 2019-20 campaign and first since Jan. 6.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Ledlum helped the Crimson defeat Cornell and Columbia at Lavietes Pavilion on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The 6-6 forward averaged 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes off the bench, ranking tied for third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding. 

In 17 minutes vs. the Big Red, Ledlum logged his second double-double of the season and his first vs. Division I competition with his team-high 15 points (5-8 FG) and game-high 10 rebounds. A day later vs. the Lions, he posted four points, three rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 14 minutes off the bench.

Ledlum, who is averaging 7.9 points and 3.7 rebounds on the season, and his Harvard teammates will return to action this week, playing host to Princeton on Friday and Penn on Saturday.
