CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Two former Harvard men's lacrosse standouts Bobby Duvnjak' 16 and Dan Eipp '14 were added to professional lacrosse rosters this summer. Duvnjak will join the New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse, while Eipp will return to the Premier Lacrosse League with the Waterdogs.
Duvnjak returns to professional lacrosse with the Lizards organization after previously playing for the Charlotte Hounds in 2016-17. The defenseman joined the Lizards after being selected in the 2018 Supplemental Draft.
Eipp joins the Waterdogs after being selected 17th overall in the 2020 PLL Expansion Draft. The midfielder made an immediate impact with the Archers during the 2019 season, registering eight goals in 12 games.
Both leagues shifted its schedule in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The PLL will hold a two-week tournament in lieu of a full season this year. The PLL Championships Series will be a fan-less tournament that runs from July 25-August 9. The MLL will run its season from July 18-26 in Annapolis, Md. The season will be one-week long, hosting all six MLL teams. The week will conclude with a final-four playoff that crowns the 2020 MLL champion the weekend of July 25-26. Games will air on the ESPN Network, including ESPN+. Full details can be found
