Bacow Participates in GPA Fun Run

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University President Larry Bacow participated in the GPA Fun Run, which took place on Saturday, Oct. 9. The event, which was open to all Harvard undergraduates, was a 1.7-mile run around the Charles River Esplanade.

The Grow. Play. Achieve. (GPA) program was established in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity for the undergraduate students who were in residence to pursue health and wellness opportunities in partnership with our varsity coaches. With the resumption of full residency at the College in 2021, the GPA program has continued and now includes in-person events and activities for all undergraduate students.

Earlier during the Fall 2021 semester, GPA has played host to featured events such as The Exclusive Andrew Rueb, Head Men's Tennis Coach, Harvard Tour and Finding Your Footing: First-Year GPA Scavenger Hunt Challenge.

The next GPA event is set for Oct. 22 – Real Confidence: Managing the End of the Semester with a Competitive Edge.

Barre and Zumba are other GPA offerings that are scheduled for Fall 2021.

All events are listed on the CrimZone Rewards app and are eligible for points.
