CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - This past fall, Harvard Athletics coordinated the Grow. Play. Achieve. program, providing health, wellness, and community building opportunities for undergraduates. GPA aims to connect students and build the Harvard community through physical activity and personal development initiatives. This semester, GPA offered eight in-person health and wellness opportunities; four fun events and four featured fitness classes. Each of these events showcased the Harvard Athletics and Recreation facilities and offerings and allowed undergraduate students to interact and connect with varsity coaches and staff members. This past fall, more than 200 students took part in GPA activities, with a majority reporting they learned or improved their personal health and wellness practices. GPA participants also formed new friendships, as 75 percent of students stated they felt a greater connection with their peers or Harvard Athletics. In the end, students explored together, ran together, learned together, and most importantly, evolved together. Who's next? Come Grow, Play, and Achieve with us next spring!
