Bebar’s Brace Leads Women’s Soccer Past Dartmouth on Senior Day, 3-1

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First-year Hannah Bebar totaled five points on two goals and an assist as Harvard University women's soccer defeated Dartmouth College, 3-1, on Senior Day in the team's regular season home finale on Saturday afternoon at Jordan Field.

Capping a four-game homestand, the Crimson (11-2-1, 4-2-0 Ivy) – ranked No. 16 in the RPI – held a 2-0 lead at halftime and increased the advantage to 3-0 in the 79th minute prior to the visiting Big Green (5-7-1, 1-5-0 Ivy) netting a goal inside of the final five minutes.

Junior Hollyn Torres opened the scoring in the seventh minute, slotting a shot from a tight angle past the keeper off assists from Bebar and junior Gabby DelPico. Bebar netted her first goal of the game in 29th minute, beating the goalie in a one-on-one after taking feeds from first-year Ainsley Ahmadian and senior Lara Schenk. Bebar tallied her second goal at 78:58, directing a shot past the keeper following an assist from sophomore Megan Mackey.

Prior to the game, the Crimson recognized its seven graduating seniors – Murphy Agnew, Maria DiMartinis, Taylor Nielsen, Lauren Raimondo, Samantha Schmitz, Trinity Thomas, and Jillian Wachira – for their hard work, resiliency, and dedication to the program during their time at Harvard.

"It felt great to get the win," DiMartinis said. "There is no better feeling. This group has worked so hard, and we are still fighting for something – for a spot in the NCAA tournament. Every win means even more. To the seniors who I have spent over four years with here, it was so great that we all got to get in and got to end our home season together. I am so proud of everyone."
