CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The NEISA fall sailing slate came to a close this weekend as the conference held three championship regattas across a breezy Boston region. Harvard picked up top-five finishes in both the Schell Trophy (Coed) and Victorian Urn Trophy (Women's), while also placing 12th at the Nickerson Trophy, a first-year's only regatta.
Brothers Eli and
Henry Burnes served as skippers for the Crimson at the Schell Trophy, helping the team to a fifth-place finish alongside a crew combination of
Tyler Masuyama,
Marbella Marlo,
Pomaika'i Ogata and
Chris Wang. Harvard finished the 18 races with a team total of 254 points.
Meanwhile, the Crimson took fourth out of 16 schools while serving as hosts at the Victoria Urn. Harvard totaled 190 points in 16 races. The sophomore pairing of
Sarah Burn and
Corinne Lee continued to find success, placing third in the B-division with 80 points, while teammates
Emma Kaneti and
Marleigh Belsley ranked sixth in the regatta's top division with 110 points. Kaneti, a senior, and Belsley, a sophomore, managed two first-place finishes on the weekend.

Becca Ackerman,
Sophia Montgomery and
Alexandra Dorofeev represented Harvard at the first-year's only Nickerson Trophy, ultimately taking 12th place out of 22 teams with 166 points in eight races.
