PHILADELPHIA – Sophomore
Philip Conigliaro won the 165-pound title to lead a group of eight Crimson placers for Harvard University wrestling at the Keystone Classic on Sunday at The Palestra.

The Crimson totaled 34 wins on the day, including eight bonus-point wins with seven student-athletes placing fourth or better. Harvard tallied one champion, three third-place finishers, three fourth-place performances, and a seventh-place showing among its placers.

Conigliaro paced the Crimson with his 165-pound championship, finishing the day with an undefeated 4-0 mark. Harvard's third-place finishers included junior
Beau Bayless at 125 pounds, sophomore
Joshua Kim at 174 pounds, and sophomore
Nick Marcenelle at 197 pounds. The team's fourth-place finishers included senior
Lukus Stricker (149 pounds) junior
Trevor Tarsi (157 pounds), and sophomore
Leo Tarantino (184 pounds).

In the team standings, Harvard placed third out of eight programs at the event with 111.5 points. Penn won the team title with 194.5 points while Appalachian State came in second (154).
Harvard Highlights
- Harvard totaled eight placers and seven student-athletes who placed fourth or better. The Crimson sent 12 wrestlers to the quarterfinals and four to the semifinals.
- The Crimson posted a 34-25 record on the day, including eight bonus-point wins – two major decisions, one technical fall, and five falls.
- Sophomore Philip Conigliaro won the 165-pound title behind a 4-0 record. The top seed in the division, Conigliaro beat fourth-seeded Lucas Revano of Penn in the semifinals, 6-2 and second-seeded William Formato of Appalachian State in the finals, 10-4.
- Junior Beau Bayless came in third at 125 pounds with a 4-1 mark. The seventh seed, Bayless topped sixth-seeded Tyler Klinskey of Rider with a fall in 2:38 in the third-place match. Bayless also notched a fall in 0:49 vs. second-seeded Antonio Mininno of Drexel in the quarterfinals.
- Sophomore Joshua Kim took third at 174 pounds with a 4-1 record. The third seed, Kim beat sixth-seeded Logan Messer (George Mason) in the third-place, 4-1.
- Sophomore Nick Marcenelle claimed third at 197 pounds behind a 3-1 mark. The fifth seed, Marcenelle topped sixth-seeded Dante DelBonis of Sacred Heart in the third-place match with a fall in 0:57.
- Senior Lukus Stricker, junior Trevor Tarsi, and sophomore Leo Tarantino came in fourth place at 149, 157, and 184 pounds respectively. Tarsi posted a 4-2 mark on the day while Stricker and Tarantino each went 3-2.
- Junior Michael Jaffe came in seventh place at 141 pounds with a 3-2 record.
