Philip Conigliaro finished sixth at 165 pounds to lead Harvard University wrestling at the 2021 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Competing at an event that featured 12 ranked teams, Slavikouski won four straight matches, including a victory over top-seeded Tate Orndorff of Ohio State in Saturday morning's semifinals, to reach the 285-pound first-place match prior to bowing out with an injury default in that contest.

Conigliaro placed sixth at 165 pounds after winning a pair of matches to open Saturday's competition before dropping two narrow contests to close the day. He placed at Cliff Keen for the second time after finishing seventh at 165 pounds in 2019.
Harvard Highlights
- Junior Yaraslau Slavikouski – ranked No. 15 in the country at 285 pounds and seeded at No. 4 at the invitational – registered a 4-1 record on his way to his second-place finish at 285. On Saturday, he opened the day with a 3-2 victory over No. 1 seed Tate Orndorff of Ohio State in the semifinals for his fourth straight win. In the first-place match, he ended his run with an injury default against No. 10 seed Gary Traub of Oregon State.
- Slavikouski made his season debut at the event, starting his 2021-22 campaign with a 3-0 record on Friday.
- Sophomore Philip Conigliaro – ranked No. 12 in the nation at 165 pounds and seeded at No. 5 for the event – placed sixth at 165 pounds behind a 4-3 record over the course of the weekend. On Saturday, he opened the day with a 4-0 victory over No. 9 seed Joseph Grello of Oklahoma and a 3-1 win over Clayton Wilson of Nebraska. In the consolation semifinals, Conigliaro dropped a 5-3 decision to No. 3 seed Carson Kharchla of Ohio State prior to falling to No. 4 seed Cameron Amine of Michigan in sudden victory in the fifth-place match.
- Conigliaro placed at Cliff Keen for the second time after coming in seventh at 165 pounds in 2019. Conigliaro placed at an event for the second time this season after winning the 165-pound title at the Keystone Classic on Nov. 21.
- After advancing to day two with a 2-1 record on Friday, junior Beau Bayless dropped a 3-1 decision in sudden victory to No. 7 seed Jacob Allen of Navy at 125 pounds in his only match on Saturday.
- In the team standings, Harvard came in 18th out of 26 schools with 32.5 points.
