Historic Footage Available Now Inside Harvard Athletics Video Vault

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Featuring historic footage from 30 teams and counting, the Harvard Athletics Video Vault is live and open to the public. Competitions ranging from the 1920s to the 2010s are available at GoCrimson.com/Watch.

The subscription-based platform is the first and only of its kind at the collegiate level and provides an unprecedented amount of content for Harvard alumni and fans. New historical footage is uploaded to the vault every week, adding to the impressive list of available content. The annual pass is $59.99, while the monthly pass costs $5.99.

The oldest game footage dates to the 1927 Crimson football season when Harvard clashed with Dartmouth. Other gridiron matchups include a pair of contests from 1947 when Robert Kennedy scored a touchdown vs. Western Maryland and when Chester Pierce became the first African American to play in the South in a game vs. Virginia. Fans will also be able to watch the 1955 edition of The Game that featured a catch by Ted Kennedy.

The Harvard Athletics Video Vault also has a 1974 men's basketball game vs. Dartmouth that was led by Satch Sanders, who became Harvard's first Black head coach in 1973, and various championship moments, which include, but are not limited to, men's ice hockey (1989 NCAA Championship), women's lacrosse (1990 NCAA Championship) and women's soccer (2016 Ivy League Championship).
