Lukus Stricker each won twice, but Harvard University wrestling fell to No. 20 Princeton, 34-9, and to No. 22 University of Pennsylvania, 29-6, in a pair of Ivy League duals on Friday at the Malkin Athletic Center.

Hosting an Ivy League dual meet for the first time since February 1, 2020 – a span of 727 days – the Crimson (1-3, 1-3 EIWA, 0-2 Ivy) faced 14 nationally ranked wrestlers on the day, including five against the Tigers (3-2, 2-0 EIWA, 2-0 Ivy) and nine against the Quakers (3-1, 3-0 EIWA, 3-0 Ivy).

Conigliaro – ranked No. 13 in the nation at 165 pounds – and Stricker each won twice, extending their team leading win totals to 13. Stricker posted a pin against Princeton for his second fall of the season.Â
Harvard Highlights
- Sophomore Philip Conigliaro – ranked No. 13 in the nation at 165 pounds – improved his record to 13-4 on the year with his pair of wins. Making his dual debut on the day, he moved to 2-0 in dual action on the year.
- Conigliaro posted an 11-8 decision over the Tigers' Jake Marsh at 165 pounds. He opened the scoring with a takedown in the first period before totaling two takedowns and two escapes in the second period to take an 8-4 lead. He added an escape and takedown in the third stanza to seal the win.
- In the evening dual, Conigliaro topped No. 25 Lucas Revano of Penn, 6-3, at 165. He notched a takedown and an escape in the first period prior to closing out the match with an escape and takedown in the third period, breaking a 3-3 tie entering the stanza.
- Senior Lukus Stricker tallied his second fall of the season and seventh of his career. Behind his two wins, he remains in a tie for the team lead in wins (13) and paces the team in dual points (18) and dual wins (four) on the year.
- Stricker earned a second-period fall in 4:10 over Princeton's Marshall Keller at 149 pounds. Gaining a 3-2 lead after the first period, Stricker notched an escape, takedown, and 4-point near fall before securing the pin.
- Against Penn, Stricker registered a 3-0 shutout win against Carmen Ferrante at 149. After a scoreless first period, Stricker recorded an escape and takedown before completing the shutout in the final frame.
- Sophomore Joshua Kim dropped a narrow 6-4 decision in sudden victory to Princeton's Nate Dugan at 174 pounds. Kim – ranked No. 31 at 174 – scored a takedown in the first period and two escapes in the second stanza to knot the score at 4-4 at the end of regulation before Dugan notched a takedown in overtime.
- Against the Quakers, three Crimson student-athletes dropped close decisions within two points against ranked opponents including junior Beau Bayless (3-1, 125 pounds), junior Michael Jaffe (6-5, 141 pounds), and sophomore Joshua Kim (3-1, 174 pounds).
- Due to impending winter weather on Saturday, the Crimson's weekend schedule was moved such that Harvard hosted both teams on Friday.Â
