Tyler Neville caught his second touchdown pass of the season, but Harvard University football fell to No. 23 Princeton University, 37-10, on Friday night at Harvard Stadium in a game televised on ESPNU.

The Crimson (4-2, 2-1 Ivy) pulled within 14-10 at halftime following Neville's touchdown reception with 1:24 left in the second quarter before the nationally ranked Tigers (6-0, 3-0 Ivy) scored a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter and added a field goal and touchdown in the final frame to remain undefeated.

- Senior running back Aidan Borguet rushed for 96 yards on 15 carries for an average of 6.4 yards per carry. He has posted 80 or more rushing yards in all six games this season.
- Junior tight end Tyler Neville tallied career highs in receptions (five) and receiving yards (78), while catching his second touchdown pass of the season. He has grabbed a touchdown in two of the Crimson's last three games.
- Senior wide receiver Kym Wimberly corralled a career-best 11 receptions for 70 yards. He registered his first career game with double-figure catches.
- Senior quarterback Charlie Dean completed 20-of-32 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown. He has not thrown an interception over his last five games.
- Junior linebacker Matt Hudson totaled a career-best 10 tackles, including five solo stops and 2.0 tackles for loss. He notched his first career game with double-figure tackles.
- Senior defensive lineman Truman Jones compiled seven tackles, a sack, and a blocked extra point. Jones has recorded 4.5 sacks over his last four games and blocked a kick for the second straight week.
- Junior defensive lineman Thor Griffith notched five tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and a sack – his third of the season.

How It Happened
- Princeton opened the game's scoring as Blake Stenstrom connected with Andrei Iosivas on a 61-yard touchdown on a flea flicker, giving the Tigers a 7-0 lead with 11:54 to go in the first quarter.
- Harvard cut into the margin with 3:45 left in the first quarter as senior kicker Jonah Lipel connected on a 24-yard field goal, following a nine-play, 31-yard drive.
- The Tigers extended their lead to 14-3 with 4:10 remaining in the second quarter as Stenstrom found Ryan Butler for a 14-yard touchdown.
- The Crimson pulled back within one score at the 1:24 mark of the second quarter with senior quarterback Charlie Dean connecting with junior tight end Tyler Neville on a 10-yard passing touchdown. Neville also caught a 22-yard pass on the seven-play, 70-yard drive in 2:41 that brought Harvard within 14-10 at halftime.
- The Tigers posted the first score of the second half with Stenstrom completing a 23-yard touchdown to Dylan Classi with 11:13 on the clock in the third quarter, making the score 21-10.
- Princeton made the score 28-10 with 0:56 left in the third quarter behind a one-yard rushing touchdown from Ryan Butler.
- The Tigers' Jeffrey Sexton converted a 24-yard field goal with 11:22 to go in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 31-10.
- Princeton went up 37-10 with 7:16 remaining in the contest on a four-yard touchdown rush from Stenstrom. Senior defensive lineman Truman Jones blocked the ensuing extra point.

Special Recognitions
- As part of the evening, the Crimson recognized the legacy of Dr. Chester Pierce '48, M.D. '52 – a standout tackle on the Harvard football team who became the first Black student-athlete to play against a then all-white college south of the Mason-Dixon Line. In recognition of the 75th anniversary of that game against Virginia in 1947, Harvard honored the family of Dr. Pierce and gave commemorative t-shirts to the first 500 fans in attendance.
- The Crimson also recognized its 2007 Ivy League championship team at the end of the first quarter on the 15th anniversary of its conference title. The 2007 team posted an undefeated 7-0 record in Ivy League play, capping the season with a 37-6 victory at Yale.
