CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the ECAC Hockey regular season quickly approaching its end, No. 6/6 Harvard (18-6-0, 13-4-0 ECAC Hockey) prepares for an important weekend at Bright-Landry Hockey Center as the Crimson meets Princeton (9-11-4, 7-8-2 ECAC Hockey) and No. 9/9 Quinnipiac (19-7-3, 11-6-0 ECAC Hockey) this Friday (Feb. 11) and Saturday (Feb. 12). Both games will begin at 3 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+, as well as Stretch Internet Internationally.
Harvard is right in the thick of a tight race in the conference standings, entering the weekend with 40 points in 17 conference games, half a point behind Yale, who has played 18 ECAC Hockey contests.
The Crimson is jostling for seeding in the upcoming ECAC Hockey Tournament, which is set to begin Feb. 25. The top eight teams in the regular season standings will qualify for the tournament, with the top four seeds serving as hosts for the Quarterfinal round.

What to Know
- Harvard enters the weekend fresh off its Beanpot Championship this past Tuesday. The Crimson battled past Boston College, 5-4, in the final of the 43rd Women's Beanpot to claim the program's 15th title at the event title all-time. Becca Gilmore, who scored the game-winning goal with less than four minutes left in regulation, was named Tournament MVP.
- This weekend's series will be Harvard's second meeting with both Princeton and Quinnipiac in the last three weeks. On the road Jan. 21-22, the Crimson shutout Princeton, 1-0, while topping Quinnipiac, 3-2. Harvard will be looking to earn its first regular season sweep of Princeton since 2016-17, and first vs. Quinnipiac since 2014-15.
- Harvard has gone 9-1-0 in its last 10 games, scoring 43 goals over that span. The Crimson is averaging 3.92 goals per game, ranking them fourth in Division I.
- The top forward line of Anne Bloomer, Kristin Della Rovere and Becca Gilmore has been highly productive all-season for Harvard but has taken its play to another level of late. Gilmore has recorded five-consecutive multipoint games and has set new career highs in both points (36) and assists (21). Della Rovere is also piling up the points with 14 in her last six games, including five-multi point efforts. Bloomer leads the team with 18 goals and is first in Division I with 0.75 goals per game.
- Princeton has gone just 1-5-1 in its last seven games. Junior Maggie Connors leads the team in goals (9) and assists (15). The Tigers are allowing just 2.0 goals per game this season but are scoring only 1.63 goals per game.
- Quinnipiac has gone 3-3-0 in its last six games after starting ECAC Hockey play 8-2-0. The Bobcats' have a strong duo of goaltenders with Corinne Schroeder and Logan Angers, each of whom are in the top-five in the conference in both GAA and save percentage.
- Harvard leads the Tigers 49-35-6 all-time.
- The Crimson has a record of 20-10-3 vs. Quinnipiac in the all-time series between the programs.
At the Helm:
Katey Stone, The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, is in her 27th year at the helm of the women's hockey program. Prior to the 2021-22 season, Stone compiled a 494-253-54 record. During Summer 2021, Stone was named the recipient of USA Hockey's Distinguished Achievement Award, recognizing a U.S. citizen who has made hockey his or her profession, and has made outstanding contributions, on or off the ice, to the sport in America. No stranger to trailblazing in the sport, Stone was the first woman to be recognized for the award. Through her tenure at Harvard, Stone has coached six Patty Kazmaier Award winners, 24 All America selections, 13 Olympians and 11 NWHL/CWHL Draft picks. Her teams have won 11 Beanpot championships, seven ECAC Tournament titles and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament 11 times.
