CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 19 Harvard women's water polo (9-1) will open its CWPA conference schedule this weekend, Feb. 26-27, beginning with a road matchup with Saint Francis (PA) (5-7) at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The Crimson will then travel to Bucknell University, for a neutral site matchup with Mount St. Mary's (4-9) at 4:30 p.m. Harvard concludes the weekend with a 10:30 a.m. matchup on Sunday against No. 25 Bucknell (5-2).

What to Know
- Harvard comes in at No. 19 in the weekly CWPA National Rankings, released on February 23rd. Bucknell remains at No. 25 for the second consecutive week.
- The Crimson comes in with a 9-1 overall record and is currently on a seven-game winning streak after a 4-0 showing at the Princeton Invitational on Feb. 12-13.
- Harvard is 2-1 this season in games against ranked opponents, topping No. 17 LIU and No. 24 Cal Baptist, while falling to No. 14 Wagner.
- Sophomore Brooke Hourigan netted 12 goals across the four games at the Princeton Invitational, earning her first CWPA Player of the Week honors in the process.
- Junior goalie Zoe Banks posted a pair of strong performances at the Princeton Invitational, allowing just 10 goals while making 25 saves.
- Juniors Grace Thawley and Borden Wahl combined for 15 goals and 8 assists at Princeton, as the duo have combined for 5.3 goal involvements per game this season.
At the Helm
Ted Minnis enters his 12th year as The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach in 2021-22. Minnis has led the women's program to new heights, including a program-record 24 wins in 2016. He holds an overall record of 185-130 (.587) with the women's team through 11+ seasons.
What's Next?
Harvard will return home to host the Harvard Invitational next weekend, Mar. 5-6. The Crimson will play a total of four games across the two days, beginning with No. 17 Indiana at 11:30 a.m. and No. 24 Brown at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harvard will then take on Mount St. Mary's (10:30 a.m.) and RV Cal State East Bay (2:15 p.m.) on Sunday, with all games across the weekend being streamed on ESPN+.
