JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In a back and forth contest, Harvard women's lacrosse (3-2) fell 12-10 to Monmouth (5-2) in the opening game of the Crimson's spring break trip to Florida.

Caroline Mullahy each scored twice to lead the Harvard offense.
The Crimson rallied from an early two-goal deficit, using a five goal second quarter to take an 8-6 lead at the half.
Mullahy scored back to back goals at 9:02 and 5:29 of the second quarter to key the run, and Hulslander closed the half with another score with 3:36 to play.
But Monmouth scored five straight goals in the second half to take the lead for good at 11-8 before
Gina-Marie Ricciotti stopped the Hawks' run with 4:33 to play.
Harvard was unable to rally back in the final minutes.

Shea Jenkins led Harvard with five ground balls and four caused turnovers while first year
Grace Taylor added four ground balls and four caused turnovers. Hulslander led Harvard with four draw controls and added three caused turnovers.
Harvard had 22 shots on net to Monmouth's 20, with goalkeeper
Chloe Provenzano making eight saves.
