BOSTON – With two Crimson teams competing among a field of eight, Harvard took first and third in its lone regatta of the weekend this Saturday and Sunday, winning the Boston College Team Race.
The victory was the first of the spring season for the Crimson, whose best showing previously was a runner-up at the Bavier Team Race.
Harvard's winning team of

Eric Hansen,
Jonas Nelle,
Alexandra Dorofeev,
Ariel Wang and
Cassia Lee sailed to a perfect 13-0 record to easily claim the top prize.
The team's second squad of
Cordelia Burn,
Marbella Marlo,
Sarah Burn,
Cindy Tian,
Juliana Ruggieri and
Corinne Lee finished 6-7 and in third place.
The regatta opened on Saturday with Harvard's coed team navigating the initial round robin at 7-0, while the women went 4-3 to finish in a five-way tie for second.
A Sunday morning sail-off saw the Crimson women race to a 3-1 mark, good enough to join their teammates in the final four alongside Brown and Boston College.
The two final round-robins played out identically, with the Crimson teams going 3-0 and 1-2, respectively, in both rounds. Harvard's coed boats continued to dominate the field by taking the first and second in each of its head-to-head matchups on the way to the title.
Meanwhile, the Harvard women twice defeated Boston College to post a 2-4 final four record, finishing in third behind their Crimson counterparts as well Brown.
Rhode Island (fifth), MIT 1 (sixth), Northeastern (seventh) and MIT 2 (eighth) rounded out the results for the weekend.

For Harvard, next weekend's schedule includes two team races (Duplin Trophy and Friis Trophy) along with one fleet race (Vietor Trophy). The three regattas will be held March 26-27.
