Jake Berger each posted two hits and two RBIs, but Harvard University baseball fell at Holy Cross, 11-5, on Wednesday afternoon at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.

Playing in its first game in New England in 1,042 days, the Crimson (11-8) held a 5-2 lead through five innings before the host Crusaders (7-20) scored the game's final nine runs.

Bravo extended his hitting streak to eight games with a 2-for-4 day while Berger moved his reached base safely streak to 14 games with his pair of hits. First-year
George Cooper also posted two hits, and sophomore
Ben Rounds scored two runs.

Bravo opened the game's scoring with an RBI single in the top of the first. After the Crusaders pulled ahead 2-1 in the bottom of the first, the Crimson responded with four runs in the top of the third to re-take a 5-2 lead. Bravo started the rally with an RBI single, and Berger capped the scoring with a two-run single. The Crusaders plated four runs in the last of the sixth and five in the seventh to move ahead, 11-5.

- Junior first baseman Logan Bravo went-2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. He extended his hit streak to eight games, posted his ninth multi-hit game of the year, and notched his second multi-RBI game of the season.
- Sophomore shortstop Jake Berger finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs. He reached base safely for the 14th straight games, tallied his team-high fourth multi-RBI game, and registered his fourth multi-hit game.
- Sophomore right fielder Ben Rounds tallied a hit and two runs scored. He pushed his reached base safely streak to 10 games.
- First-year second baseman George Cooper posted a 2-for-5 effort with a run scored. He recorded his sixth multi-hit game of the year.
- Junior right-hander Will Jacobsen hurled 2.0 innings of scoreless relief and did not give up a hit with two strikeouts.
- In his season debut, junior right-hander James Kirkpatrick tossed 1.0 scoreless inning with one strikeout.
- In his first career start, first-year right-hander Tanner Smith threw 2.0 innings allowing two runs on three hits with a season-high four strikeouts.
- Junior right-hander Ian Buckner tossed 1.0 inning of scoreless relief in the eighth.
