Men's Lightweight Rowing Drops Close Race to Yale, Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 9 Harvard Men's Lightweight Rowing team fell to No. 1 Yale and No. 5 Princeton in its final dual race of the season. The Crimson place third in the first varsity competition as Yale went on to secure the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups with the victory. 

Th Crimson effort was highlighted by three second place finishes in the second, third and fourth varsity races. The second varsity crew was closest to a victory, as the boat was outpaced by just four seconds in an eventual defeat to Yale. 

UP NEXT 
The Crimson will have two weeks to train and prepare for the Eastern Sprints Regatta on Sunday, May 15 in Worcester, Mass. The competition will take place on Lake Quinsigamond against a strong group of opponents from the East coast.
