CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior first baseman
Logan Bravo hit his seventh home run of the season, but Harvard University baseball fell to Dartmouth College, 15-2, in the series finale of its final home Ivy League weekend of the season on Sunday afternoon at O'Donnell Field.
The Crimson (17-20, 8-9 Ivy) remained within 3-1 through four innings before the visiting Big Green (21-16), 12-6 Ivy) plated six runs in the top of the fifth to gain separation.
In game three, Bravo went 1-for-2 with a home run, RBI, and run scored, sophomore outfielder
Peter Messervy finished 2-for-2, and sophomore designated hitter
Ben Rounds posted a double and a run scored.
For the series, Bravo hit .727 (8-for-11) with two home runs, eight RBIs, three doubles, three runs scored, and a 1.545 slugging percentage. First-year
George Cooper went 6-fot-11 (.545) with a triple, three runs, and two RBIs, and Messervy finished 4-for-8 (.500) with a home run, two RBIs, and a .600 OBP.
After the Big Green started the game's scoring with three runs in the top of the second, Harvard responded with a run in the bottom of the frame as Rounds led off the inning with a double and later scored on a wild pitch. Dartmouth plated the game's next seven runs over the fifth and sixth innings to move ahead 10-1. Bravo hit a solo homer to right center field in the bottom of the sixth before the visitors scored four in the seventh and one in the ninth.

- Bravo, Rounds, and Cooper posted a hit in each game of the three-game set.
- For the series, the Crimson registered a .317 batting average, totaling 32 hits – including 14 extra-base hits – over the three games.
