Cassidy Bargell, TEDxBoston – No Colon: Still Rollin’

Harvard women's rugby senior Cassidy Bargell has taken an inspiring journey as she navigated a life-changing illness and surgery, prior to returning to full-contact sports. Inflammatory bowel disease challenged her body and mind in ways that she never expected, but through this experience she proved to herself that physical challenges like losing her colon and using an ostomy bag are not life, or sports, ending. She hopes her story will help others faced with similar circumstances to lean-in and know life can again be good.
