CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis program has earned 2021-22 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors and established a program record with 14 ITA Scholar-Athletes, the ITA announced on Monday.
For the 14
th consecutive season, and 22
nd time overall, the Crimson collected the ITA team award. In order to secure ITA All-Academic Team accolades, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Harvard for the fourth time in as many seasons established a school record for number of ITA Scholar-Athletes. In 2018-19, the Crimson set the mark with 11 honorees and then broke the record 12 months later when 12 were listed on the Scholar-Athlete list. The last two seasons, Harvard increased its total by one year-over-year, bringing its '21-22 total to 14, which was the second-highest total in the nation (Columbia – 16).

Rachel Lim,
Mihaela Marculescu,
Demi Snyder,
Chelsea Williams, Lauryn Wu and
Angel You. In order to be eligible for this distinction, student-athletes needed a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the 2021-22 academic year.
