MTC Doubles Draw Final
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Harvard men's tennis opened the season on a high note as the doubles pairing of
Ronan Jachuck and
Daniel Milavsky earned the Milwaukee Tennis Classic's Doubles Championship. The duo took down the ITA's fourth-ranked doubles pairing of Charles Bertimon and Maxence Bertimon (VCU) by a score of 8-5 to win the crown. Milavsky and Jachuck - both ranked in the first ITA singles poll (No. 95 and No. 118, respectively) - teamed up on the doubles court for the first time in their collegiate careers and powered their way to the title.
Jachuck and Milavsky defeated teams from Marquette, VCU (twice) and Wisconsin on their way to the championship, outscoring their four opponents by a combined score of 28-13 throughout the tournament.
This is the second straight season in which the Crimson was represented on the MTC podium after Henry von der Schulenberg was crowned the singles champion in the 2021 tournament.
