Comeback Attempt for Women’s Ice Hockey Falls Just Short in Loss at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Harvard women's ice hockey battled until the final whistle at Ingalls Rink tonight in its matchup with the Yale Bulldogs as its comeback bid fell just short. The Crimson (0-4-0, 0-4-0 ECACH) cut into a 2-0 Yale lead with just under two minutes remaining but could not find the tying goal in an eventual 2-1 loss.

Gwyn Lapp recorded her first career goal in the matchup and Alex Pellicci made a season-high 32 saves to backstop the effort.
