Bronte-May Brough and men's water polo first-year
Vilas Sogaard-Srikrishnan have earned Harvard Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week presented by The Harvard COOP for the week of Oct. 2-6, Harvard announced on Wednesday.
The Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week and NFHCA Division I National Defensive Player of the Week, Brough scored two goals against No. 10 Syracuse including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter to lift No. 13 Harvard to a 6-5 win over the Orange. Brough's two-goals performance was the first-multi goal game for the sophomore this season.
En route to a 16-6 win over LIU, the first-year from Greenwich, Connecticut scored four goals for the Crimson and aided in two more with two assists. Defensively, he made a steal from the Sharks that would help the Crimson grow their lead.
