CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Holly Fischer of Harvard women's tennis landed at No. 103 in the final ITA Division I Women's Singles Rankings of the 2023 fall.
The Crimson junior had a strong fall season to land herself in the top-125, going undefeated through her five matches.
Fischer began her fall going 2-0 in the Crimson home tournament, the Harvard Fall Classic. In her opening match of the season, the junior downed Rozalia Gruszynska (Cincinnati) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
The London, England native picked up the final three wins of her fall season by going 3-0 at the ITA Northeast Regionals. In the second day from the Murr Center, Fischer had a pair of straight set wins while only dropping eight games through the four sets. Finally, Fischer punched her ticket to the ITA Northeast Super Regionals by defeating Jenna Sloan (Quinnipiac) in dominant fashion, 6-3, 6-1.
