CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Women's squash junior Serena Daniel and wrestling junior Joshua Kim have earned Harvard Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week presented by The Harvard COOP for the week of Feb. 27 to Mar. 5, Harvard announced on Friday.

Serena Daniel, Women's Squash, Economics

Coming in as the two-seed in the Holleran Cup South Division, junior Serena Daniel went a perfect 4-0 this weekend at the 2023 CSA Individual Championships.  The junior ultimately defeated one-seed Liyen Teoh (Princeton), 3-2 (11-9, 11-5, 3-11, 7-11, 14-12) to bring home the hardware.

Joshua Kim, Wrestling, Neuroscience

Junior Joshua Kim battled back after falling to No. 1 Julian Ramirez on Saturday to qualify for the NCAA Tournament in Tulsa, OK. Joshua Kim upset No. 4 Barczak with a takedown in OT to move on and keep his tournament hopes alive. The junior fell to No. 3 Ogunsanya in a close 5-4 decision setting up a win-or-go-home situation for Kim. Kim defeated No. 7 Harkins in OT for his second overtime victory of the day to send him to the NCAA championships.
