TEMPE, AZ.. – No.16 Harvard women's water polo started its west coast road trip with three wins in three games at the ASU Invitational. The Crimson started the trip after defeating No. 9 Arizona State 13-10 in an overtime thriller before defeating Marist 16-6 in a rematch from earlier in the season. Harvard followed that up with a 21-10 win Sunday morning over Salem. The Crimson is currently riding a nine-game win streak and improved to 16-2 on the year.
In the big upset over ASU,
Erin Kim scored two goals in the fourth quarter to help force overtime while
Jaiden Miller scored two goals in OT to give the Crimson its first lead of the game.
Grace Thawley completed the hat-trick in OT to solidify the victory over the Sun Devils.
