Box Score HANOVER, NH – No. 11 Harvard Men's Tennis began their defense of the Ivy League title today by downing Dartmouth, 6-1.
The Crimson began the day up 1-0 after taking the doubles point from wins at the No. 1 and 2 positions. The duos of
Daniel Milavsky and
Harris Walker and
Ronan Jachuck and
Steven Sun continue their doubles domination by winning 6-3, 6-4, respectively.
Moving into singles,
Henry von der Schulenburg, picked up the second win of the weekend, dominating 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 2 position.
Alan Yim then pushed the Crimson within one victory of securing the win by defeating his opponent, 6-3, 6-1.
After dropping a match at the No. 5 position, the Crimson secured the win with a victory at the No. 3 position from Milavsky. The sophomore dominated, winning 6-0, 6-4 to give the Crimson their first Ivy win of the year.
The Crimson went on to secure two more singles wins for the day, with victories from Jachuck and Walker. Both players dominated, winning in straight sets to secure the 6-1 win over the Big Green.
