Women's Water Polo Heads to Michigan For Last Conference Weekend

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 15 Harvard women's water polo heads to Ann Arbor this weekend for its final conference weekend of the season. The Crimson will play three games in Michigan over the weekend as teams fight for playoff position. 
 
Harvard opens the trip with a Saturday doubleheader against Bucknell at 12:30 p.m. and Saint Francis University at 4:30 p.m. before a big Sunday matchup against host Michigan at 12:00 p.m. The Saturday games will be streamed on BIG+ with the Sunday game streamed on the Big Ten Network. 
 
What to Know 
  • The Crimson defeated Bucknell two weeks ago via a score of 19-7 at Blodgett Pool. 
  • In the previous matchup against the Bisons - Crimson seniors led the way with 10 of the 19 goals.
  •  Harvard also defeated Saint Francis two weeks ago in Cambridge 20-3. 
  • It was the third time this season that the Crimson had let up less than five goals in a game. It also marked the fourth time this season Harvard had scored twenty or more goals. 
  • Harvard looks to win the rematch against Michigan after falling to the Wolverines 14-6. 
  • The Crimson looks to rebound from narrowly falling to No. 7 Princeton in overtime last weekend. 
  • Harvard has an all-time record of 2-18-1 against Michigan, 25-26-1 against Bucknell, and 11-0 against Saint Francis. 
Next Up 
The Crimson travels to Providence for the season finale against Brown at noon on April 22. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
