CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's lightweight rowing won the Haines Cup over the weekend after defeating Navy, MIT, and Delaware in the 1V race on Saturday. The Crimson has now won cups in back-to-back weekends.
Harvard came away with a first-place finish in the IV after defeating Navy by nearly three seconds. The Crimson battled back and pulled away late in the race to secure the victory.
Harvard won its second race of the morning after crossing the finish line with a six-second gap over Navy in the 2V race.
The Crimson finished in first place in the 3V race after beating Navy by just under two seconds.
To finish off the morning the V4 boat finished in second place.
Next Up
The Crimson will race on the Charles for the last time next weekend as they face Yale and Princeton for the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups. The race will be streamed on ESPN+/
