Brooke Hourigan scored with one second left in regulation to give the Crimson a 9-8 victory over No. 2-seeded Wolverines. The Crimson will face Princeton tomorrow at noon in the Championship game from DiNunzio pool. The game will be streamed by the CWPA.
The Crimson defeated the defending CWPA Champions for the program's first win over Michigan since women's water polo became an official NCAA sport in 2001. With the victory, Harvard will play in the CWPA championship for the second straight season continuing the dominant two-year stretch for the Crimson.
The win over No. 9 Michigan is the second win over a top-10 opponent for the Crimson this season.
Harvard Highlights
- Grace Thawley netted four goals including a behind-the-back highlight reel goal to help spring the Crimson offensively. The senior also added an assist and had four knockouts drawn.
- First-year Ruby Hodge scored twice and added three steals.
- Brooke Hourigan scored twice including the game-winning goal and a penalty shot goal.
- Dany Zapata scored once.
- Zoe Banks was great in the net as the senior backstopped the Crimson with nine saves.

- The Crimson led 4-1 after two-quarters of play after goals from Ruby Hodge, Grace Thawley, and Brooke Hourigan.
- The Crimson scored three goals in the third quarter to increase the lead to 7-3.
- Michigan tied the game late in the fourth quarter until Hourigan scored with a second left to clinch the win for the Crimson
