Women's Water Polo Falls in CWPA Championship Game to No. 10 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - No. 20 Harvard women's water polo fell in the CWPA Championship to the No. 1 Seed Princeton 12-8 on Sunday afternoon. The Crimson finish the season with a 23-9 record and with wins over two top-10 opponents for the first time in program history.  Grace Thawley, Zoe Banks, and Brooke Hourigan were named to the CWPA All-Tournament First Team for their performances throughout the three playoff games.

 Harvard finishes in second place in the CWPA for the second year in a row.

  • Leading goal scorers Grace Thawley and Brooke Hourigan finished their impressive seasons with two goals each. Hourigan also added two assists and two steals. 
  • First-year Ruby Hodge scored the games first goal as she added another milestone in an impressive rookie year. 
  • Evan Tingler had one goal and two assists. 
  • Jaiden Miller scored twice and added one more block on to her career totals. 
  • Zoe Banks made four saves. Alexis Kieckhafer made three saves.
