CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – Senior Captain Zoe Banks was named to the Cutino Award Watch List, USA Water Polo announced on Thursday. The award is voted on by coaches across the country to recognize the top twenty athletes in collegiate water polo. 
 
Banks has been great since returning from injury and has helped backstop the Crimson to a 19-5 record. Banks broke her single-game save record twice this season after a 19-save shutout against Santa Clara earlier in the year. 
 
The senior has won two CPWA Defensive Player of the Week so far this season.

The 20 athletes, as submitted by women's varsity college coaches around the country, are recognized for their excellent play. While it's possible the 2023 Cutino Award winner will come from the list of athletes below, this list of honorees is completely independent from the nomination and voting process of the Cutino Award as that honor will acknowledge the full impact of the 2023 season. Finalists for the Cutino Award will be announced following the completion of the women's season. The NCAA Championship is set for May 14 in Stockton, California.
