Logan Bravo have earned Harvard Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week presented by The Harvard COOP for the week of May 8-14, Harvard announced on Wednesday.
Riley Flynn helped lead the Crimson to the Ivy League Tournament title, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team and selection as the Ivy League Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Flynn went 2-0 with a save at the tournament, tossing 11.0 innings over three appearances and permitting five runs – all earned – on seven hits and eight walks with 11 strikeouts. She earned the win on Thursday vs. Yale, captured the save with 2.2 scoreless and hitless innings on Friday vs. Yale, and captured the win in the title-clinching contest against Princeton, hurling 5.1 innings and giving up two runs on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
Senior first baseman
Logan Bravo posted a .727 average (8-for-11), four runs, two doubles, two home runs, seven RBIs, and a 1.455 slugging percentage last week as Harvard beat Yale in a three-game series, 2-1. Bravo registered multiple hits in all three games of the series. In game two he went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, a home run, and a run, in game three he finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs, a double, a homer, and two runs, and in game one he notched a 2-for-3 effort with a double and a run. The Crimson captured its sixth Ivy series win of the season and secured the No. 2 seed in the Ivy League Tournament.
