CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics for the first time is scheduled to have 14 of its teams featured live on NESN and NESN+ during the 2023-24 campaign. This fall, the Crimson will have six of its home events air live, with Harvard's winter and spring slates to be announced at a later time.
Harvard field hockey will kick off the Crimson coverage on NESN+ on Friday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. ET as it takes on Dartmouth. The contest against the Big Green will be the team's first home contest of the 2023 season and marks the beginning of its quest for a second Ivy League title in the last three seasons.
Harvard women's rugby will appear on NESN for the first time ever, welcoming Brown to Mignone Field on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. ET. The contest will be a rematch of last year's battle in which the Crimson came out on top, 45-14.
NESN will air back-to-back soccer games in October beginning with Harvard women's soccer against Dartmouth on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. ET. The Crimson is coming off a strong 2022 season, which saw it reach the second round of the NCAA tournament, and will look for its fourth straight victory over the Big Green.
NESN will broadcast the Harvard men's soccer crosstown battle against Boston University on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. ET. The yearly contest between the two Boston-area schools will feature a Crimson side looking to earn its third straight win against the Terriers.
Harvard women's volleyball will also make its first-ever appearance on NESN on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 5 p.m. ET as it takes on Dartmouth. The matchup will serve as the second between the two schools in 2023, with the Crimson looking to expand its 54-26 lead in the all-time series against the Big Green.
NESN's fall broadcast schedule for Crimson Athletics concludes with Harvard football playing host to Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. ET. The Crimson will look to replicate its winning result from last season as it battles the Big Green in its second-to-last home game on NESN and NESN+.
Throughout the winter and spring seasons, NESN will air contests from Harvard men's and women's hockey, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball and baseball. All told, of the 14-event package airing on NESN in 2023-24, eight will feature Crimson women's programs.
