Women's Lacrosse Hires Kenzie Kent as Assistant Coach

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's lacrosse announced today that Kenzie Kent is set to rejoin the program as an assistant coach. Kent returns to Cambridge after a two-year stint at Syracuse where she served in the same role. 
 
"I am thrilled to welcome Kenzie back to the Harvard family as our offensive coordinator," said Devon Wills, The Carole Kleinfelder Head Coach for Harvard Women's Lacrosse. "Kenzie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience at the collegiate, professional, and international level. Kenzie's creativity and ability to orchestrate offensive schemes is going to help our team take a big step forward. I can't wait to get back to work with Kenzie as a part of our team!"
 
In her two seasons with the Orange, Kent helped Syracuse to 33 wins and two trips to the NCAA Tournament. Kent coached five All-Americans throughout her two years with the Orange. 
 
A former All-American, Kent began her coaching career at Harvard in 2019 after an extremely successful collegiate career at Boston College. Kent played both lacrosse and ice hockey for the Eagles and was named a first-team All-American by the IWLCA after leading the country in points in 2019. 
 
A native of Norwell Mass, Kent won the 2017 ACC Mary Garber Award as the conference's female athlete of the year after leading the ACC with 77 points in 12 games. Kent went on to win Most Outstanding Player honors at the 2017 NCAA Tournament after leading all players in scoring. 
 
Kent graduated from Boston College with a degree in communication in May of 2018, before earning her master's degree in Sports Administration from BC.
