CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard Rugby team has started their 15s season 2-0 after yet another big win, this time on home soil over the Yellowjackets of American International College (AIC) with a shutout win of 65-0.
How it Happened
Tiahna Padilla got the game started with a try less than five minutes into play, with
Lennox London not far behind with a second.
Skylar Jordan scored her first conversion off of London's try to bring the Crimson up 12-0 ten minutes into play. From there,
Brogan Mior added a try with
Ava Ference scoring her first points in Crimson with the conversion.
Carly Lehman pushed her way through to break the line for another first-half try and
Skylar Jordan added a try to her conversions. The first half ended with
Cameron Fields running down the field for her one try of the night.
More Harvard players got a chance to step on the field in the second half as
Charlotte Gilmour got the next 40 started with a try and
PK Vincze made the conversion.
Reese Morgan and
Jordan Roe continued to grow the lead before
Maya Hilger ended the night with her first two trys for the Crimson.
