WASHINGTON, D.C. - Harvard Women's Lacrosse came out firing and produced a 15-goal first half, propelling it to a 20-4 road victory over Georgetown. The Crimson, which did not allow a goal in the second and third quarters, returns to action on Sunday vs. VCU in search of a 3-0 start to the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Crimson offense clicked early, outscoring the Hoyas, 11-2, in the first quarter.

- Charlotte Hodgson picked up the second goal of the game after finishing off a great feed from Mullahy behind the net.
- Riley Campbell added on after a free-position goal to put the Crimson up three.
- Georgetown scored twice to pull within one in the first quarter but that was as close as they would get as the Crimson offense scored the next 16 goals.
- Campbell would add another goal to push the lead to two and start the offensive outburst in the first half.
- Charley Meier and Callie Hem converted the next two goals for Harvard. Hem wired a shot from way back for her first goal of the game and eighth of the season.
- Annabel Child picked up her first goal of the season as well.
- Grace Mullahy had perhaps the highlight of the night after going up to catch a pass and getting it behind the Hoyas goalie while in mid-air.
