Women's Water Polo Set for First All-Conference Weekend of the Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 19 Harvard women's water polo is set to travel to Princeton to play three neutral site games in an all-CWPA conference weekend. Harvard opens Saturday with St. Francis at 12:30 p.m. before closing out with Bucknell at 4:30 p.m. On Sunday the Crimson will face No. 8 Michigan at 9:00 a.m. 

WHAT TO KNOW
  • Harvard will head to Princeton for the second time this season after going 2-1 at the Princeton Invitational.
  • The Crimson were 2-2 last weekend at the Harvard Invitational after defeating Mercyhurst and Santa Clara.
  • The Crimson scored a season-high 22 goals in the game against Mercyhurst.
  • Maya O'Dea and Emma Gilbert each netted two hat-tricks last weekend. Both ended the weekend with seven goals.
  • Harvard will only play one ranked team this weekend, No.8 Michigan, after playing three ranked teams last weekend.
  • Harvard remains undefeated against St. Francis, going 10-0 in the all-time series.
  • Harvard trails in the all-time series against both Bucknell (24-26-1) and Michigan (2-17-1).
  • After Sunday, the Crimson will play seven straight road games and eight of its final nine games as the visitors heading into the CWPA playoffs. 
NEXT UP 
Harvard will head west next weekend to play out-of-conference games against Arizona State, Stanford, San Diego State and Long Beach State.
