SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Women's water polo split the Sunday doubleheader after picking up a win over No. 21 San Diego State thanks to a big game from sophomore Ruby Hodge. The Crimson fell earlier in the day to No. 3 Stanford before the bounce-back win against the Aztecs. 

HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS

GAME 1: Stanford 16, Harvard 7 

• Ella Schneider and Ella Prentice both scored once in the morning game. 
• Heidi Heffelfinger netted a pair of goals. 
• Kaity Greenwald and Erin Kim both scored in the opener. 
• Alexis Kieckhafer made five stops in the cage. 

GAME 2: Harvard 16, San Diego State 11

• The Crimson jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
• The Crimson led 10-5 at the half. 
• Ruby Hodge started the game with two quick goals in just over a minute to get the offense started. 
• Hodge went on to add two others in the late-game. 
• Emma Gilbert and Sasha Constandse both scored twice. 
• Ella Prentice netted a hat-trick in the first half. 
• Maya O'Dea also added a hat-trick. 
• Annabel Facey potted a pair of goals. 
• Alexis Kieckhafer made six saves in the win
