TEMPE, AZ. - No. 19 women's water polo fell to No. 8 ASU on Saturday morning in the first game of the West Coast road trip. Scoring five goals in the second half, the Crimson could not overcome a three-goal first quarter from the Sun Devils.
Ruby Hodge and
Sasha Constandse led the offense as the Crimson will now turn its attention to No. 3 Stanford and No. 21 San Diego State tomorrow in California.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
- Alexis Kieckhafer made six saves in the ranked matchup.
- The Crimson fell behind 3-0 in the first quarter but was able to find the back of the net in the second quarter as Sasha Constandse scored the lone goal in the first half for Harvard.
- Erin Kim and Sasha Constadse opened the third quarter with goals before Emma Gilbert tagged on another.
- Ruby Hodge added the next two goals for the Crimson as it tried to make up some ground in the final frame.
